Interactive TV and secure payments
Current estimates of digital TV deployment indicate that digital TV is
one of the major platforms for interactive electronic services. From
card payments point of view, there are several interesting business
applications, such as interactive advertisements, pay TV services,
games and TV shops. Card payments could be one of the major enablers of
commercial services in digital TV. At the same time, digital TV may
offer substantial business opportunity for payment card issuers and
acquirers.

MDpay 3-D Secure MPI digital TV - A Java implementation for digital TV operators and broadcasters.
The product is a library implementing the 3-D Secure protocol core
functions and includes a reference implementation on Linux platform
and the payment components for digital TV. The product is licensed with
the source code to allow customization to any environment.
