Modirum MDpay Chairman of the Board, Erkki Leikkari Retires
1.4.2006 In March 2006, the partners of Modirum Oy agreed that the earlier Chairman of the Board, Mr. Erkki Leikkari will retire from his current full-time position. According to the agreement, Mr. Leikkari sells his shares of Modirum MDpay to the remaining partners but he may later return to work for the company as a senior advisor and a major account manager. Mr. Jari Heikkinen will continue as the CEO of Modirum MDpay and the new Chairman of the Board will be the current Director of International Sales, Mr. Pasi Lindholm.
Mr. Leikkari is the first founding partner of Modirum MDpay and the agreement completes his long and successful career in the company. It is fair to say that Mr. Leikkari had the central role in creating and expanding Modirum MDpay business first in the Nordic market and later in the European and global markets. The rapid success of Modirum MDpay in highly competitive markets has been largely based on Mr. Leikkari's contribution.
The other partners of Modirum MDpay want to thank Mr. Leikkari for his valuable role and important contribution for Modirum MDpay business.
