TietoEnator implements MDpay solution for secure Internet transactions at NORD/LB Latvija TietoEnator has completed the implementation of a software solution for secure electronic payments at NORD/LB Latvija, a subsidiary of Norddeutsche Landesbank (NORD/LB). NORD/LB Latvija thereby becomes the first Baltic bank that offers acquiring services of Visa card products via the Internet using the 3D-Secure technology. "We are satisfied that NORD/LB Latvija is the first bank in the Baltic area that can offer secure Internet purchases using Visa verification," says Juergen Machalett, President of NORD/LB Latvija.
